Boxers 'n' Briefs: The Year of Punning Dangerously

Hello, Boxers!

Hard to believe but TODAY, November 27th 2007, marks the 1 year anniversary of the very first real Boxers 'n' Briefs. I contemplated doing a bit of a retrospective, pulling out some of my favorites, but decided against it - after all, there is always so much NEW stuff happening, who has time to go back and dredge up dated humor? I will, however, point out just ONE pun that I thought was one of the best pun/post combinations I can recall off the top of my head. It occurred in the blog titled "RoboRaptor" on May 3, 2007:

16) That's why it's called "The Appellation Trail"...

I think it says something about me that this is one of my favorites... what, I don't know, but it MUST say SOMEthing!

But I digress... let us look now to the present (or at least, the past few weeks)...

1) A Salt and Blathery.

2) "Don't Fire until you see the reds of their eyes!"

3) I'm not the yeast bitter hoppy about this.

4) Sense insensibility.

5) KuKu for KoKo Pods.

6) I admit, I laughed.

7) BigRedLost!

8) Notify can help it.

9) Third shifting priorities.

10) Tanks for the memories. (Yeah, I know... overused pun)

11) Hotdogs (See comment on previous link)

12) As a roulette's usually a lot more obvious.

13) Pre-pairing for the holidays.

14) That old familial feeling.

15) Sun of Bridezilla

16) Trading places.

17) A stomp, a stump, a stamp, and a story!

18) Sneakers snicker at starter's barters.

19) Bells, Whistles, and Xyrons.

20) Way to go, Brandy! Errr, I mean Chrissy?

21) Getting coordinated

22) Tickles in the wind.

23) By popular demand.

24) Kittens say the darnedest things.

And that'll do it for our Anniversary Issue!

Don't forget, if you appeared in this B'n'B (or ANY B'n'B over the last year) you are eligible for the EXCLUSIVE Boxers 'n' Briefs Patch! Just send me an AQ mail indicating which blog and number, and I will send you instructions on how to acquire this little slice of embroidered heaven. Until next time!

Boxers 'n' Briefs: Patching Things Up

Dear Boxers,
I realize I have been remiss in my synopsisizing of late, and for this I am truly sorry. How can I make it up to you? How can I patch things up? Patch... patch... that's IT! A Patch!

A one-of-a-kind (well, 200-of-a-kind, actually) Patch, available only to those whose words of wisdom have been immoralized in the virtual pages of Boxers 'n' Briefs! My gift to you, for making my "job" so much fun.

Rules: AQ mail me, indicating the BnB Title and Number where you were linked (eg: "Gather By The River", #8 would be Eidolon). I will then send you an address, and you can send me a stamped, self-addressed envelope. When the envelope is returned to you, it will contain one (1) Official B'n'B 2" x 3.5" Fully-stitched 4-color Patch, with 200 shot carbine action, a compass in the stock and a thing that tells time... well, at least it will have the patch part.
